EPA Should Conduct Ecological Risk Assessment of UV Filters: National Academies of Sciences

Says assessment is urgently needed and should be shared with FDA.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) should conduct an ecological risk assessment of ultraviolet (UV) filters, according to a new report from the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine.
